Architecture and Culture Society of China
Established in 2006, Architecture and Culture Society of China is an academic organization made up of individuals and groups that are keen on the development, research and promotion of Chinese Architectural Culture. It is legally registered and is a commonweal and non-profit social organization.

Architecture Culture Society of China is aimed to: 1. protect and explore the traditional architectural culture in Chinese history and inherit the essence; 2.impact the current city construction to put more emphasis on the work of protecting, inheriting and carrying forward the national architectural culture through kinds of activities; 3. create a platform for the units and individuals with insights in the field of architecture, culture and art and administration staff to exchange and communicate with each other, which will play an active role in building a harmonious society; 4. popularize the basic knowledge of architectural art and architectural culture and raise the artistic and cultural level of the society.

The task of Architecture Culture Society of China is to popularize the scientific knowledge of architecture culture, organize academic exchanges about architecture culture, the subject study and academic researches in the field of architectural culture; start international academic exchanges with foreign organizations and strengthen the friendly communication with foreign counterparts; hold exhibitions, edit and publish academic books, magazines and scientific reading materials, and popularize advanced theory of architectural culture as well.

Architecture Culture Society of China sets up individual and unit membership. All of those individuals and units who are engaged in programming, designing, exploring, constructing, culture, art study, creative work, management and teaching and dedicate to the development of architectural culture can apply for the membership.

The Journal of Architecture Culture Society of China is Architecture & Culture, which is National Social Science journal managed by China Publishing Group and approved by State Press and Publication Administration. The Domestic unified registration numbers are CN11-5058/Z, while the International standards registration numbers are ISSN 1672-4909. This journal is issued monthly, 120 pages and printed in full-color coated paper.

As a young and vital academic organization, Architecture Culture Society of China is looking forward to cooperating with architecture counterparts both at home and abroad and making more contributions to the construction of a harmonious and creative society.
